DIY BBQ 36" Drop-Down Burner Module Frame Section. Please note this module is not recommended for BBQ grills because the counter top height will only be 30" which is to low for a grill. This module is designed for a side burner to be installed into it. The drop down makes it a lot easier to lift heavy pots of water onto the burner. Our kits are designed with you in mind. Cement board is 36" by 60" so having a 36" height takes away a lot of the unnecessary cutting away
Included in each kit:
- 35" studs to give the island a 36" overall height
- Galvanized 20ga. steel framing that is professionally cut for easy installation
- Step by step directions on how to assemble your kit.
You only need to add composite board for the bottom, this is what gives you the 36" counter top height and prevents water from touching the framing. This creates a extra protection that will allow for your frame to last a lifetime. Also you need to add cement board that can be found at Lowes or Home Depot for about $10.00 per board.
*Add extra screws to save a trip to the store. Typical Islands will take 2-3 boxes.
